  • The award nomination portal can be completed by any person who is nominating for a Member Groups award (DGPP, College, Branch, Interest Group).

    All award nominations must be submitted prior to the closing date for nominations. Before nominating, please ensure that you (if you are nominating yourself) or the person you are nominating meets all of the individual award's stated eligibility criteria. 

    Awards can only to be presented if a candidate is considered by the Board to be of sufficient merit. Please note that if a nominated winner is a Registered or Provisionally registered psychologist, a check of the PsyBA Register of Practitioners is required prior to submitting this form to confirm there are no current Conditions, Undertakings or Reprimands applicable to the psychologist.

  • APS Division of General Psychological Practice Significant Contribution Award
    The nomination period for the DGPP Award closes on 31 July.

    In judging the nominations for the award, the selection committee will consider the substantial contribution to psychological practice in the areas of:

    • Assessment and treatment
    • Education
    • Research
    • Community education
    • Training / supervision
    • Mentoring
    • Advocacy
    • Service development
    • Service to the DGPP
    • Service to the community

    Please select the relevant criteria (a minimum of one to a maximum of three) and provide a statement (no more than 300 words per criterion).

    All nominations will be reviewed by the Member Groups team at the APS to ensure that the award's eligibility criteria has been met. 

    After the award closing date, nominations are sent to the award sub-committee of the relevant member group for consideration.
