Join the APS as an Affiliate for $99 (normally $299 for an annual subscription) and get membership through to 31 May 2026.
Thank you for your interest in joining the APS as an Affiliate. If you have not previously been an APS member, please use this application form to apply for the grade of Affiliate.

Eligibility criteria

The grade of Affiliate is available for people who who have:
- completed a three-year APAC-accredited sequence in psychology only, or
- have completed qualifications in other disciplines acceptable to the Board (for example, if you are registered with AHPRA as a health professional other than a psychologist)
This form should take around five (5) minutes to complete.

The APS is receiving a large volume of applications at this time; most applications are processed within five (5) working days.

- If you hold General registration, you can join as a Member and use the postnominals MAPS.
- If you have Provisional registration, you can join as an Associate Member and use the postnominals Assoc MAPS.
