You can join as an Associate Member (Assoc MAPS).

Associate Membership is a transitional grade for those progressing toward Member (MAPS). It’s for people who have completed an APAC‑accredited fourth year program, and many hold Provisional registration. Associate Members use the postnominal Assoc MAPS.

Do you hold Provisional registration?
If you’re a provisional psychologist undertaking a PsyBA internship, you may be eligible for a significantly reduced Associate Member annual fee $80 (nearly 90% off the price of the full MAPS fee).

You are eligible to become an APS Student Subscriber if you are currently enrolled in an APAC-accredited course or a postgraduate research degree in psychology, such as a PhD.

You can be an Affiliate.

The grade of Affiliate is available for people who who have completed a three-year APAC-accredited sequence in psychology only, or
have completed qualifications in other disciplines acceptable to the Board (for example, if you are registered with AHPRA as a health professional other than a psychologist)
