You can join as an Associate Member (Assoc MAPS).
Associate Membership is a transitional grade for those progressing toward Member (MAPS). It’s for people who have completed an APAC‑accredited fourth year program, and many hold Provisional registration. Associate Members use the postnominal Assoc MAPS.
Click FINISH and we’ll contact you within two (2) working days to talk through how APS membership can support your career. Or, if you’re ready, you can begin the join process now.
Do you hold Provisional registration?
If you’re a provisional psychologist undertaking a PsyBA internship, you may be eligible for a significantly reduced Associate Member annual fee $40.
Reminder
If you join between 11 February 2026 – 15 March 2026, your membership will run through to 31 May 2027.
You’ll pay the Associate Member fee that matches your career stage:
- $659 if you have completed fourth year and are working in psychology without Provisional registration
- $40 if you hold Provisional registration
Your fee includes the remaining months of the 2025–26 year (ending 31 May 2026) at no extra cost, giving you APS membership through to 31 May 2027.
