APS Assessment of Psychology Qualifications
Important Information
Before you start please ensure that you have the following:
For each psychology qualification:

High-quality colour scans of your official academic transcript/s in the original language

High quality colour scans of your official degree certificate/s or diploma/s in the original language

If you have received credit transfers for any psychology subjects completed at another higher education provider, you will need to provide high-quality colour scans of the official academic transcript from the institution where any credit transfers were completed

If your undergraduate studies in psychology were completed as a single subject major (that is, units which were not undertaken as part of a degree) please provide high-quality colour scans of the official academic transcript and the qualification certificate of the degree you completed prior to commencing your psychology subjects

If you have completed a major research project/thesis, please provide the entire project and names of professions of the supervisors and examiners where known
You will also need to provide:
- Evidence of membership of a professional psychology association, if applicable
- Evidence of registration/licensure as a psychologist, if applicable
- Change of name documentation, if applicable
Affidavits
The APS does not accept affidavits as evidence of name change or name variation (different spelling). While accepted as evidence of name change in some countries, the APS is unable to accept a document that is the applicant swearing the contents to be true. It is the applicants responsibility to obtain official evidence of name change or variation.

The online application should take about 10 minutes per qualification to complete
Please only use English letters when filling out this form. Please avoid using special characters (such as, .!/@) as the form cannot detect such information and this may impact the submission of your application.
Timeframe
The assessment of overseas qualifications is a detailed and complex process. Due to a recent increase in applications, the APS advises the current processing time is approximately 12 weeks for an assessment. Please be aware your assessment may take longer than 12 weeks. When your assessment is completed, you will be notified of the outcome by email.
