To meet the inclusion criteria to be listed in the Directory, Trauma Support Providers must meet a set of standards.
Providers will be asked to complete the below self-assessment checklist and make a declaration that the information being provided is true and correct. Such declaration is legally binding and shall be relied upon by all parties using the Directory. Upon signing the declaration, it will be the sole responsibility of the Provider to maintain their eligibility to be listed on the Directory.
To be listed in the directory, practitioners must meet the following criteria:
CRITERIA A:
A1. Inclusion in the Blue Knot Foundation database.
OR
A2. Registration with relevant professional body for those professions regulated by AHPRA or membership of relevant professional association for self-regulating professions (i.e., for Counsellors: ACA Level 3 or 4 Member or PACFA Clinical Registrant; for social workers: AASW Accredited mental health social worker), and
A3. Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience delivering clinical services to adults affected by complex trauma, and
A4. Specific qualifications or completed professional development in relation to clinical skills for treatment of complex trauma, and
A5. Specific qualifications or completed professional development in relation to skills and competencies in the delivery of trauma-informed approaches.
AND
CRITERIA B:
B1. Willingness to undertake CPD relevant to complex trauma and/or trauma-informed approaches.
B2. Receive 10 hours peer consultation per annum related to your practice in complex trauma.
B3. Have a current network of appropriate community referral sources.
